Boost your PCB's connectivity capabilities with this edge connector from Samtec. The flexible unit supports one, four, eight and 16 PCI Express links. For versatility, it mounts vertically at a right angle or on the rim of your circuit board. To install the connector, just pop the integrated pins through the corresponding holes on your PCB and solder them in place. A nylon housing insulates the live contacts, so there's little risk of an electric shock. Gold-over-nickel contact plating resists corrosion, making it a sure bet in humid conditions.
