RS PRO Wrist & Foot ESD Tester

Use this RS PRO wrist and foot electrostatic discharge (ESD) tester when testing an electrostatic protected area (EPA) where you need to maintain a steady electrical potential. It offers a quick, simple way to determine whether your wrist straps and footwear are accurately measuring static charge.
The tester can evaluate wrist straps and footwear either simultaneously or independently, so there's no need for separate testing units. It also eliminates the need to send testers for calibration, as you can ensure they're performing to specification yourself.
This unit uses light and audio signals to give you clear and instant feedback on the operational status of the tester. It displays results on an easy-to-read 6-point scale: Fail Low, Pass Low, Low Mid, High Mid, Pass High and Fail High. This tester is commonly used in electronics workshops.
