Belden 1302E Series Thin Ethernet Cable, 500m Length, Black Jacket - 1302E.00500

This thin Ethernet cable delivers Cat6a performance for network installations where reduced cable diameter and stranded conductors are required. Suited to professional electrical, electronics and automation environments, it combines flexible conductors with a PVC outer sheath and a flame-retardant construction for use in confined routing paths and general cabling runs.

Features & Benefits

• Stranded 7x32 cores for enhanced flexing and easy routing
• Four communication cores enabling typical Cat6a networking
• Black PVC outer sheath for abrasion resistance and aesthetic concealment
• IEC 60332-1-2 flame behaviour for reduced vertical flame propagation
• Rated for operation up to 60°C allowing higher ambient deployments
• Voltage rating 72V supporting low-voltage network applications

**Applications**

• Suitable for tight cable trays and narrow conduit runs
• Ideal for factory-floor Ethernet links in automation systems
• Used with panel-mounted switches and patching assemblies
• Can be used for short-run backbone connections in plant rooms
• Used for retrofitting networks where space is constrained

What conductor material and configuration does it use?

The cable uses bare copper conductors arranged as stranded 7x32 per core to improve flexibility compared with solid conductors.

What environmental temperature range can it withstand during service?

It is specified for a minimum of -30°C and a maximum operating temperature of 60°C for normal network operation.

Which regulatory or standards markings are present on the product?

The cable carries REACH, RoHS and CE markings and meets IEC 60332-1-2 for flame behaviour.

What is the physical build regarding size and core count?

The construction includes four cores with an overall outside diameter of 7.9mm and a polyvinyl chloride jacket in black.

In what supply length is the cable provided?

It is supplied as a 500 m bulk reel suitable for longer installation runs.
