Use this Sensata Cynergy3 float switch to monitor liquid levels inside a tank or fluid reservoir. A change in fluid level causes the float to move up or down, so the internal reed switch will open or close at a specific level. This straightforward design gives long-term service without the need for calibration. A polyphenylene sulfide body, along with a silicone and Viton gasket mean this unit is suitable for use with aggressive chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, oils, greases and alcohols. It's fitted from the inside of the tank and has an M16 thread.

Thanks to the switch's broad operating temperature range of -10°C to +120°C, it's suitable for use with both cold and hot liquids.

Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.

These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.
