When you need to control liquid levels in your tank, turn to this Sensata Cynergy3 float switch. The sensor floats on the top of the liquid and then causes the switch to operate when the liquid levels change. This device is a vertical switch that you can install on the top or the bottom of your tank, making it an ideal choice when there's no side access. It has a maximum current of 500 mA.

How does this switch open and close?
There's a magnet inside the float and a reed in the switch. The float moves with the surface of the liquid, and when it gets near the reed, the force of the magnet opens or closes the switch, alerting you to the changing liquid levels.
