RS PRO White Foam Tape, 8 mm x 16.5 m, 3 mm Thick
Need strong and durable foam tape? This versatile RS PRO self-adhesive foam sealing strip can be used for a wide range of applications. This product is suitable for gaskets, seals and weather stripping, as well as in thermal insulation and vibration dampening. It's generally used in the automotive industry, as well as in bath, kitchen and window fabrication.
The foam tape is made from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), which is a synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to wear, chemicals and corrosion, for a more resilient, longer-lasting seal. The product can be used with the most common lacquers and plastics.
It's supplied in two reels with two parallel strips 16.5 meters long – handy if you're working on two parallel projects. You often see foam tapes like this one used to cushion enclosures and to provide dust sealing in switchgear or cabinets.
