The ergonomic handle gives you the control to saw accurately while being comfortable to hold.
The cast body is strong yet lightweight and its powder coat finish is resistant to chipping and scratching. When the blade breaks, you can easily change it for a new one.
The hacksaw meets both U.S. (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and U.K. (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Hacksaws like this are commonly used across DIY, construction and industrial settings for cutting a variety of materials. The 24 teeth per inch of this model make it suitable for cutting steel plate up to 5-6 mm thick.
