3M End Cap SKE Black, Polyolefin Adhesive Backing, 20 mm

Protect cable ends from mechanical and environmental hazards with this heat shrink boot from 3M. Its inner diameter quickly contracts from 20 to 8mm when heated to a minimum of +120°C. This makes it a versatile pick for shielding cables with an outer diameter between 7.9 and 10.9mm. An adhesive inside melts during heating and solidifies as it cools to create a flexible but watertight seal.

As a high-performance polymer, cross-linked polyolefin (XLPO) withstands temperatures between -30°C and +135°C and resists UV, abrasion and corrosion. What's more, it's an excellent electrical insulator with 10kV/mm dielectric strength and is both flame-retardant and halogen-free, so it's a safe choice in case of fire.
