RS PRO Heating Element, 100 mm, 200 W, 220 V AC
This compact and versatile cartridge heater from RS PRO is a great choice for localised heating of a diverse range of metal plates and components. Commonly found in industrial environments, these type of heating elements are well-suited to manufacturing, packaging and printing applications, for example.
The heating element has a nickel-chromium resistance wire for improved longevity, and a TIG-welded end disc to prevent contamination and moisture absorption. It's designed to slide easily into holes that you can drill with metric or imperial drill sizes – note, however, that the element needs to be fitted snugly to operate correctly.
The lead wire is insulated with fibreglass to withstand temperatures up to +450°C. The flexible lead has deep holes punctured into a ceramic cap at the end to keep it from fraying when bent. This RS PRO quality product has been rigorously tested to ensure its reliability and safety.
