Need a safe and reliable heater for your heavy-duty commercial environment? This compact yet robust cartridge heater from RS PRO is suitable for heating a wide range of components and metal plates, from test instruments to packaging and plastics applications.

The heating element's lead wire is insulated with fibreglass, so it can withstand temperatures up to +450°C. Its flexible, 10-inch-long lead comes with deep holes in its ceramic cap, which help stop it fraying when bent. A nickel-chromium resistance wire optimises the heater's lifetime.

The cartridge heater can slide into holes drilled with either metric or imperial drill sizes – note that a snug fit is necessary for efficient operation. This cartridge is 10 mm in diameter and 40 mm long.
