A band heater style heating element designed to wrap around cylindrical pipes and tubes providing localised directed heat.;The Nozzle style band heater is constructed from high grade Mica insulation providing excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures and superb resistance to moisture.;A reliable and hardwearing heater band with a tough metal sheath featuring a high level of oxidation resistance and the clamping band will maintain its clamping pressure even at elevated temperatures, due to the low thermal expansion Steel build.;The Nickel Chromium resistance wire has been evenly wound for an accurate and uniform spread of heat avoiding hot spots. Terminated in a standard 10in fibreglass lead the 40mm band heating element is tough, reliable and ideal for workshops and industrial applications.
