RS PRO Heatsink Transistor Spring Clip for use with TO-220

Use this RS PRO transistor spring clip with vertically-mounted heatsinks when a transistor has no mounting tabs. This clip provides a strong central pressure to a maximum of 7.5 kg, allowing the heatsink to transfer more heat to its external environment, ensuring your device remains as cool as possible.

The zinc-plated heatsink transistor spring clip comes with a clear passivated finish to resist corrosion. As it works with any heatsink panel or pad thickness, this hardwearing clip is versatile. It functions as a single point of fixing for power transistors such as TO220, TO218, TO247 and TO3P.

You will only need to use one circular hole for two transistors. A heatsink is a passive metallic part found in electric devices, such as a computer's CPU, to prevent overheating. As part of the RS PRO range, this clip has been stringently tested for durability.
