Need locking nuts that won't give way even in conditions of severe vibration? Thanks to the uniquely shaped threads, Aerotight® self-locking nuts stay in position as long as two complete threads of the engaged screw protrude beyond the nut.

Made from type 316/A4 stainless steel, the lock nuts offer excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing chlorides such as in marine applications. Its all-metal construction not only ensures durability but also makes these nuts robust enough to be reused. Part of the RS PRO range, the lock nuts are packaged and handled in controlled facilities and undergo rigorous testing to assure quality and reliability.

The Aerotight® self-locking nuts are popularly used in chemical processing plants as they can withstand severely corrosive environments and temperatures up to +300°C.
