Need a sturdy cable for wiring electronic equipment? This harsh environment wire from the RS PRO range is perfect in areas of high pressure, temperature or underwater. You'll find it can operate down to -49˚C without cracking and up to +105˚C without melting.

The wire is constructed of a single core that consists of seven strands. Each strand has a cross-sectional area of 0.34 mm² (AWG 22). Manufactured from tin-plated copper, the wire is built to resist corrosion and provide good contact. Conductor resistance is a maximum of 59.4 Ω/km, at 20ºC. Sheathed in black PVC, it'll prove durable across its 250-metre length.

This wire conforms to French safety standards NFC 93521 and NFC 32070/C1 (fire retardance), and also meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 so you can be sure it won't damage equipment through electrostatic discharge. Plus, it's also RoHS compliant on hazardous substances.
