Looking for a compact connection solution for printed circuit boards (PCBs)? This yellow 3-way socket from 3M uses insulator displacement connection (IDC) technology to force back the cable jackets so the conductors are exposed. It provides a reliable alternative to crimped or soldered sockets and accepts both solid and stranded wires for use in a variety of applications. This plug has a thermoplastic body for safe insulation from electric shocks. It also has a 2mm pitch to ensure that the conductors don't touch each other, preventing short circuits.
