RS PRO Connector, 4 contacts Cable Mount Miniature Plug, Crimp

The RS PRO miniature locking plug is ideal for touch-proof cable connection applications where space is limited. Encased in nickel, this 4-pin female connector mates with a threaded chassis, making it quick to connect and disconnect on site. Solder-type termination on the connector achieves tight, solder-free connections that are highly resistant to wear, vibration and temperature changes.

Supporting a maximum wire size of 6 mm, the straight connector is shielded to ensure effective grounding and to prevent 'noise' when used with a shielded cable. The tin plating on the brass contacts ensures the connection is well-protected against corrosion and wear. Part of the RS PRO range, this component is strictly tested for quality and compliance with British and EU electrostatic discharge standards.

Miniature circular solder connectors are typically used in industrial and automotive applications where effective transmission is needed in low-voltage and low-signal conditions.
