The enclosure is made from an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) material, which has an excellent level of impact strength, resistance to corrosion and wear, so it will last you for a long time. It's also highly flame-retardant, so it's suitable for demanding settings where exposure to naked flames might be likely.
As this product is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certified, it contains only minimal amounts of any hazardous substances. It can house PCBs (printed circuit boards), as well as power supplies and cabling. Use it in medical equipment, as well as instrumentation and IT applications.
