The Exsys DTE to DTE Extender can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS232 interface. With it you can connect two computers (DTE to DTE). They are equipped with 9 pin sockets, which can be connected directly to the serial RS-232 interfaces of the PC. They extend the RS-232 signals up to a maximum length of 50 meters. A Cat. 5 or 6 network cable is required for transmission between the transmitter and receiver.
