The Intesis Modbus RTU/TCP - OCPP gateway functions as a protocol translator, enabling communication between Modbus RTU/TCP networks and OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol). In addition to its translation capabilities, the gateway also offers an OCPP Central System mode. This mode allows the gateway and the Building Management System (BMS) to replace the Central System of an OCPP installation, thus fully integrating the Modbus-based BMS with the OCPP charging infrastructure. This enables more comprehensive control and monitoring of electric vehicle charging stations within a Modbus-based BMS environment, maximizing its capabilities.
