OSRAM TO-46 Metal Package IR Emitters
This family of Infrared (IR) LEDs, from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, are in TO-46 through-hole metal packages. Their metal can packages are hermetically sealed and offer short switching times and high reliability. They also offer a spectral match with silicon photodetectors. Suitable applications for the TO-46 metal IR LEDs include; photointerrupters, IR remote controls and sensor technology.
