This light curtain is a receiver module designed for safeguarding access to hazardous machinery in hygiene-sensitive environments. It operates as part of an optical transmitter/receiver pair to monitor a protective field up to 12.5m and reacts within 12ms. The unit is supplied in an IP69K-rated housing with a 15m flying-lead connecting cable and provides two PNP OSSD outputs for integration into safety circuits.
