Use this RS PRO holding magnet if you need to ensure the safe and quick opening and closing of doors, gates and valves. It's used for a wide range of applications, such as building security systems and laboratories. This electro-holding magnet requires power to turn on and unlocks when the power is turned off. This makes it useful for a wide range of equipment, such as devices to hold doors open in the event of a fire.

The part has threaded holes in the rear, so it's easy to mount onto any standard door. Engineers have stringently tested this door magnet for quality, durability and safety.
