It's made from the highly corrosion-resistant austenitic steel, which contains the element molybdenum, known for its weldability and corrosion resistance. That means this stainless steel tubing is ideal for use in settings where there's exposure to saltwater or rain. The 316 L metal tube resists weld decay thanks to its low-carbon make-up.
