The DM/DP series has been designed for applications requiring a snap-action switch in either a basic or manual configuration. Instillation has been simplified with the use of quick connect terminals and a snap-in panel mount housing. Various options are available including momentary or alternate actions and single or double-pole. The DM accepts a button for manual operation. The DP has plungers for basic operation.

Use this plunger microswitch from Honeywell for precision control in a variety of applications. It has a robust polyester case that's impact-resistant, so you can rest assured it won't break or wear under pressure. Thanks to its snap-in panel mounting design, this microswitch is quick and easy to install. It also has an operating force of 4.17N and a low release force of 0.83N for a quick response to pressure on its actuator. Its single pole changeover (SPCO) configuration means it's stable in the off position when its actuator is in the centre for more precise control.

How does this microswitch work?
