Souriau 8D series jam nut receptacle connectors with short PC tails, built in accordance to MIL-DTL-38999, series III type, are aluminium bodied, black zinc nickel, durable connectors designed for use within military and civil aerospace, marine and offshore equipment, defense and military ground personnel and industrial connector applications. These jam nut receptacle connectors feature a coupling thread and are 100% scoop proof and offer shell to shell continuity when mated. Souriau 8D series receptacle connectors have very high resistance to harsh environmental factors such as shock (300g, 3ms) and temperature extremes and offer over 500 mating and unmating operations.

Souriau 8D Series III, is the screw-coupled version of MIL-DTL-38999. Meets the performance required in extreme environments such as civil and military aeronautics also Industrial, marine and offshore.High resistance to harsh environments (vibration, 200°C).
