RS PRO 1.6 → 2.4 A Motor Protection Circuit Breaker
This RS PRO motor protection switch is a device used to protect against overloading or failure due to an external conductor. It monitors current consumption and acts as a circuit breaker when the current reaches a specific limit. You'll often find a protection switch used on small machines.
You can adapt this switch to the needs of your system as you can position it either horizontally or vertically using its screw termination. It's voltage rated at 690 V and automatically switches off at a high current using either thermal or magnetic release. It's capable of performing up to 40 circuit breaks per hour and can be reset.
Use this motor switch in industrial and building settings with equipment like chillers, heat pumps and cooling towers. Part of the RS PRO range, it's been stringently tested by leading engineers.
