This compact soft-starter from Siemens' innovative SIRIUS 3RW40 series helps to reduce the mechanical stress on a 3-phase asynchronous motor. It also limits current and voltage fluctuations during start-up and features an integrated bypass to prevent heat dissipating in the control cabinet. It has intelligent monitoring to guard against overload and overheating. This smart unit is easy to use and offers maintenance-free switching, with an integrated remote reset that lets you quickly address and clear faults from different locations.
• IP20 (ingress protection) rating means it's touch-proof and resistant to dust
• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C for use in a variety of challenging settings
• Power rating of 45kW makes it suitable for a wide range of motors
• Control voltage of 110V to 230V AC means you can control it from the UK or US mains supply without needing a transformer
