The StarTech.com Easily integrate a 2.5-inch U.3 NVMe SSD into a desktop or server by utilizing the included screws to connect it to a PCIe 4.0 x4/x8/x16 slot. This setup enables ultra-fast data access without the need for additional drive backplanes or cables. The pre-installed full-profile bracket and included mounting screws facilitate a seamless connection specifically designed for U.3 NVMe drives, although incompatible with U.2 drives.

With universal compatibility, the Adapter Card supports motherboards featuring x4, x8, and/or x16 PCIe 3.0 slots, requiring no additional drivers or software. It seamlessly operates with all workstation and server operating systems, including Windows, Windows Server, and Linux. Moreover, its vented full-profile bracket and large PCB cut-out ensure optimal airflow and heat dissipation, promoting reliable performance and preventing thermal throttling.
