This nitrile rubber O-Ring cord from RS PRO gives you a quick and reliable way to seal machine components. At 2.4 mm in diameter and 8.5 m in length, it's easy to cut the cord to different lengths to produce multiple seals of different sizes.

As nitrile rubber can withstand extreme temperatures, you can use this cord at temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as +120°C. It can also hold up at intermittent high temperatures of up to +150°C. The cord works by creating a reliable vacuum between surfaces. It's quick and easy to make a circular, gasket that guards against air or fluid leaks in various types of machinery and equipment.

This O-Ring cord is suitable for a number of applications, including boilers, beer taps and engines.
