RS PRO 26-Way Straight PCB Header
Terminate flat ribbon cables in no time with this PCB (printed circuit board) header from RS PRO. It slices through a cable's insulation with ease and joins the wire to the connector, without any soldering required. This means it saves you both time and effort. As it can be connected to 26 different cables at once, it's also ideal for saving space.
This PCB header has a grey housing constructed from durable glass-fibre reinforced PET (polyethylene terephthalate). This material is also lightweight, so it provides protection without adding weight to your circuit. It's a strong electrical insulator, ensuring safety while the component is in use. The unit includes contacts made from brass and solder terminations for a robust and reliable connection.
The connector socket comes part-assembled for easy use. The universal ribbon cable sockets measuring 2.54 mm have an open design that allows additional appliances to be added to the circuit safely.
