The polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) sheet features a rating of 78 on the Shore D hardness scale, as well as high resistance to chemicals and 0% water absorption. That means it can protect products from high-impact knocks and drops, moisture, and damage from chemical and solvent spills. The glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate continues to perform in temperatures as low as -29°C.

The PETG is FDA-approved, so you can use it to package food and drug products. It is also self-extinguishing in the event of fire, with a UL 94 flammability rating.
