The Wachendorff configurable gateway serial to Profibus DP enables communication between a Profibus DP network and a Modbus RTU network. The Modbus RTU participants can be addressed via the RS232 or RS485. The gateway acts as a ModbusRTU master. The gateway acts as a ModbusRTU slave. It is easy to configure with the associated PC software via the RS232 interface. It is fundamentally possible to set different transmission rates, with the maximum transmission rate being 12 Mbps on the Profibus side. Installation is simple and reliable on DIN rails.
