This unit displays pressure readings in both bar and psi (pounds per square inch) for versatility, and its accuracy rating of ±2.5% means you can be confident of reliable results. The stainless steel and ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) body is resistant to impacts and corrosion so it can withstand demanding conditions. A broad operating temperature range between -40°C and +65°C means you can use this device in harsh environments.

How does a Bourdon tube pressure gauge work?

A Bourdon tube pressure gauge like this one has an internal curved tube with an oval cross-section. When active, the element being measured presses on the tube, which triggers the external indicator to show the pressure reading. As it's entirely mechanical, it doesn't need an electrical power source.
