RN-42-HID Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Class 2 Module, HID profile
The RN42-HID Bluetooth Module is pre-programmed with an extended HID (Human Interface Device) profile, enabling the development of products such as game controllers, keyboards, mice and other pointing devices. The basic HID capability has been extended to allow control and programmability of devices such as the Apple iPod, iPhone and iPad. The RN42-HID Bluetooth Module offers three modes of operation: Presenter Mode: Enables the control of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint Custom Mode: Enables programming of pushbuttons to send a sequence of key strokes. Music Mode: Enables the control of music player functions such as play, pause, switching tracks and volume controls.
