Programmable Oscillators

Programmable oscillators cover a wide range of crystal driven oscillators and can be found as XO, VCXO, and also sometimes TCXO. Programmable oscillators offer users the flexibility to request parts programmed to their desired frequency, offering frequency options that won’t normally be available and often with smaller lead times.

As well as frequency options, some programmable parts offer a selection of the output type;

• LVCMOS,
• LVDS or
• LVPECL

The stability of these programmed clocks are similar to that of standard oscillators.
