The ams TMF8805 series is a time-of-flight sensor in a single modular package with associated VCSEL. The TOF device is based on SPAD, TDC and histogram technology. The device achieves 2500mm detection range. It delivers high SNR, wide dynamic range and no multi-path reflections. It enables dark and sunlight environment distance measurement within ±5%.
