Siemens RCCB, Type A Device, 1kA Maximum Current Surge - SENTRON Series - 5SV3344-6
Protect people and boost workplace safety with the support of this Siemens RCCB. It breaks an electrical circuit in case of a residual current fault, which could otherwise damage equipment, shock workers or even start a fire. This device trips immediately to prevent such incidents whenever it detects residual current flowing to the ground wire. It's a 4-pole option, so you can use it to safeguard up to four circuits at a time. The breaker's quick to install as it simply snaps onto a standard 35mm DIN rail.
Features & Benefits
• 10kA short-circuit and 1kA surge rating, so safely handles current faults and surges
• Mechanical service life 10,000 switching cycles meaning it's a long-lasting choice
• Suits an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +45°C, making it a safe bet for harsh environments
• IP20 rating means you can rest assured it's touch-safe and poses no shock risk

What does this RCCB's Type A behaviour mean?
As a Type A component, you can trust it to trip with sinusoidal residual AC currents and pulsating residual DC currents, so it's a versatile choice.
