898D-43LY-D4 Safety Wired T-Port


Complete your machine guarding set-up with the 898D-43LY-D4 T-Port unit by Allen Bradley Guardmaster and ensure integrated, streamlined connection of safety devices.

The 898D-43LY-D4 accessory is a Dual Channel T-Port with 2NC (Normally Closed) configuration. This model is designed specifically for use with dual channel safety devices with a 4-pin DC micro connector. It is suitable for use in Category 2 or 3 applications per EN 954-1.

The enclosure has a high IP67 ingress protection rating (NEMA 6P), ensuring that it is dust-proof and can withstand temporary immersion in water. This makes it highly suitable for use in washdown environments. The housing is comprised of red PUR, offering higher durability against oils and chemicals and easy visibility of the device. The connector shell material is made of epoxy-coated zinc. It has a wide operating temperature, working within 20 to +105 °C (-13 to +221 °F). The O-ring material is Fluoroelastomer, which also has superior chemical and heat resistance. It has a ratcheting coupling nut to ensure vibration resistance.

Note: SensaGuard units may be wired in series maintaining a Cat. 4/SIL 3 rating.

This accessory is part of the Allen Bradley Guardmaster Safety Connection Systems line of complete wiring solutions, designed for optimising machine safety. These quick-disconnect units are intended to work with dry-contact switches and allow secure, dependable and versatile connections between interlock switches, cable pull switches, E-stops, and safety relays (however they are not suitable for mats, light curtains, or pressure sensitive edges).

The Connection Systems help to minimise installation costs, simplify troubleshooting, ensure easier expansion, incorporate modularity, provide for PLC input expansion, and support applications up to Cat 3 (EN954-1). With Allen Bradley Guardmaster solutions you can maximise protection for personnel in hazardous areas and gain enhanced security for machinery and equipment.
