The IDEM MLZ power to unlock safety interlock switch features enhanced protection for personnel, keeping the machine guard door safety closed whilst the machinery is in motion. The high-coded RFID sensor reduces the likelihood of external tampering or manipulation. The power to unlock solenoid mechanism ensures the guard remains locked until the unlock signal is applied to the device. This device features 2 OSSD PNP outputs and 1 NO Auxiliary contact, 24V dc supply, and an operating temperature of -25 to +55 °C. The MLZ actuator is spring-loaded, with a bevelled tongue for greater tolerance to misalignment on 3-entry positions. The MLZ head also includes an adjustable spring ball catch for decreasing or increasing the latching force between 30N to 100N. The MLZ is ultra-compact, measuring just 145mm in length and 30mm in width, perfect for applications with limited space.
