This safety interlock switch from Eaton is built to a simple design to provide a no-nonsense safety solution for your working environment. The mechanically actuated switch isolates the power supply to hazardous machinery when a safety gate is opened, so personnel can only access the equipment when it's powered down. A spring lock mechanism holds the unit shut, meaning it remains closed in the event of a power failure. Thanks to an IP65/66 rating, you can be sure that this device is dust-tight and protected against sprays of water, so can be used in demanding industrial settings.
