SICK STR1 Safety Switch, RFID, Vistal

This non-contact RFID safety switch is designed to protect access points in industrial automation by monitoring guard positions and providing safe output signals. It operates from a 24V DC supply and offers self-monitoring semiconductor outputs for functional safety. The device is coded to prevent unauthorised actuation and is intended for integration into safety architectures requiring series connection and diagnostic capability.

It provides two safe self-monitoring semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) and one auxiliary switching contact.

It operates between -30°C and +70°C for devices with applicable serial numbers and otherwise between -10°C and +70°C.

It connects via a 0.2m cable with an M12 5-pin plug and supports long cable runs up to 200m.

The housing is manufactured from VISTAL material.

The unit includes LEDs for status display and diagnostic indication.
