RS PRO Grey Self-amalgamating Tape 19 mm x 10 m
This self-amalgamating tape from RS PRO is used to create a waterproof and electrically insulating layer around cables, electrical joints, hoses and pipes. Supplied with an easily removable interleaf, the tape is easy to stretch and wind in the field.
Made from high-grade polythene, this tape offers excellent conformity to awkward shapes. It's resistant to UV, ozone and a variety of chemicals including alkalis, hydraulic fluids and vegetable oils, making it a versatile choice in harsh industrial settings.
The tape can withstand a wide operating temperature range of -35°C to +130°C. However, make sure to store it between +12°C and +25°C to avoid having to warm it up before use. As part of the RS PRO series, the tape has been stringently tested for quality and consistency. This tape can also be used for emergency repair of leaking low-pressure hoses and pipes.
