RS PRO 1/8 BSP Bayonet Adapter for Use with J & K Type Adjustable Bayonet, RoHS Compliant Standard

The RS PRO bayonet adapter is a simple solution for holding Type J and Type K adjustable thermocouples in place. It's used together with a bayonet cap and has a 1/8 BSP (British standard pipe thread).

The adapter works by securing the thermocouple sensing tip firmly against the surface to be measured. You'll find it also allows for easy adjustment of the immersion depth of the temperature probe and the thermometer can be fully immersed in the media it's reading.

RS PRO stocks a broad range of Type J and Type K bayonet thermocouples, along with their accompanying accessories. These adjustable temperature probes are designed to be fitted directly into drilled holes or recesses in machinery and are therefore widely used in extrusion and moulding machinery. RS PRO's bayonet cap is sold separately.
