The Exsys PCIe I/O card provides four serial RS-232 , 422 and 485 high performance UART 16C550 outputs. Each port can be configured independently as RS-232, 422 or 485. It is designed to extend two additional serial combo ports for PC, small workstation or server over the PCIe bus. It supports the ATATM Auto RS-485 transmitter features. Additionally +5V or +12V on pin 9 of the serial RS-232 connector is configurable for a POS system. A low profile bracket for narrow PC cases of 8 cm height is supplied with the card.

IO addresses and interrupt are set from the operating system
