These upright frames for pallet shelves from RS PRO are an important component in assembling a sturdy, secure storage system. The uprights are made with a large number of slots, allowing the cross beams to be fitted at whatever height is required and then secured with locking pins. A bay system using these uprights would have a very high load rating of 6000 kg, with the load spread and balanced on pallets. One bay will measure 2850 mm high, 900 mm deep and 2700 mm wide, allowing for three Euro pallets. The bay would typically have three shelves, however, this can be changed if required.

This form of shelving is the most popular form of pallet racking due to its simplicity and flexibility. It's suitable for use in warehouse environments including goods-in or goods-out areas and could be used in laboratories and workshops as well.
