This safety transformer from RS PRO is designed to provide a safe power supply for tools and other appliances in garages or industrial settings. The continuous single-phase transformer has a 230 V AC input and 110 V AC output, so you can step the voltage down. This means you're in control in the event of a hazard such as a cable being cut.

The transformer features a 110 V secondary winding centre-tapped to earth for additional safety. There are mounting flanges and conduit entry points to make for easy installation and use. A thermal magnetic trip reduces the risk of overload. The device is housed in a robust steel enclosure that's IP22-rated, so your fingers can't get inside and water can't drip in.
