RS PRO, 1.5 kVA Portable Isolation Transformer, 230 V ac, 2 x 13 A


This RS PRO, 1.5 kVA portable isolation transformer is designed to isolate a standard 230 V mains voltage supply. It's generally found in industrial settings, such as building sites, workshops and factories. The transformer provides you with an extra layer of protection by isolating your tools from the mains power supply. This prevents overloading and minimises the chances of electric shock.

It's enclosed in a high-quality glass-fibre-reinforced plastic enclosure (GRP), so it's strong but light in weight. There's a built-in thermal-magnetic trip, which reduces the likelihood of overload.

Like all of our RS PRO branded products, this stand alone unit has been exhaustively tested for durability and consistency. The transformer conforms with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, which means it contains minimal hazardous materials. It's also compliant with the reduced voltage regulations.
