RS PRO Blue Low-Density Polyethylene Solder Sleeve 29.3mm Length 2.3 → 4.5mm Cable Diameter

This 29.3 mm heat-shrinkable solder sleeve from RS PRO protects wire terminations from environmental damage. It offers fast installation without the need for time-consuming termination methods such as hand-soldering or crimping.

The size 2 solder sleeve is made from transparent low-density polyethylene for easy inspection. It comes with a pre-fluxed solder and hot-melt glue at either end, giving you easy control of the soldering process. When you place the sleeve over a wire and apply heat to seal it to another wire, the sleeve shrinks and the glue melts for an insulated, strain-free connection. This product can withstand temperatures as low as -55°C and as high as +125°C.

You can use this solder sleeve to terminate wires and cables ranging from 2.3 mm to 4.5 mm in diameter. Thanks to its tolerance of extreme temperatures and its moisture-resistant hot-melt glue, it offers protection to terminations in a wide range of industrial environments.
