The highly evolved RS PRO Optocoupler links a signal from one electrical circuit to another. By using just light to provide isolation between an input source and an output load, it offers excellent levels of optic coupling isolation. This prevents electrical interference and results in a fast-switching frequency for your precise requirements.

This component features a slim design that's resistant to dust and humidity. It has a rated input voltage of 5 V to 30 V and a maximum switching frequency of 10 kHz. It's suited to an electric wire size of 2.5 mm². The unit boasts a low defect rate and is designed for DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German Institute for Standardisation) rail mounting.

The RS PRO Optocoupler can be used in a wide range of applications such as communications equipment, process automation and machine controls.
