The Keithley instrument 10 μsec Pulsar or can be called as a source measure unit (SMU) instrument is a high current/high speed pulsar with measure and also the full functionality of a traditional SMU. It offers leading 10 A current pulse output at 10 V with a pulse width minimum of 10 μs. It has built-in dual 1 Mega sample/second (MS/s), 18-bit digitizers which obtains both pulse current and voltage waveforms simultaneously without using any separate instrument.
For inductive loads up to 3 μH tuning is not necessary
It has TSP (Test Script Processing) technology which embeds complete test programs inside the instrument
Self-heating of the instrument is minimum also it minimizes the effect of burned probe tips
